TREC is a group of people with an interest in amateur radio and  electronics.  We have monthly Saturday meetings for coffee and conversation, lectures on special interest topics, workshops and the odd 'home-brew' electronics competition.

Foxhunts are conducted with great enthusiasm regularly on Sundays with our famous BBQ afterwards.

3.7M dish at VK4TL. TREC clubrooms are in Mabel St, Atherton - about 50km SW of Cairns, in beautiful Tropical North Queensland, Australia.

Situated about 650m above sea level on the Atherton Tablelands (a volcanic plateau), Atherton is a small  town with a population of about 6000.
